The PHIL-IT General Certification Examination (PHIL-IT GCE) offered by the Cebu Educational Development Foundation for Information Technology (CEDF-IT) will be administered in our city.

To note, PHIL-IT General Certification Examination is an initiative by CEDF-IT to institutionalize the PHIL-IT GCE as an “interim board exam”. It has been noted that CEDFIT’s industry partners have made the corresponding commitment to make the Phil-IT GCE an important component for employment evaluation and acceptance of IT graduates.

In view thereof, we would like to invite all graduating BSIT, BS ComScie, BSIS and BS Computer Engineering students to take the exam. We only accept 100 takers for the first batch of Dumaguete examinees. As pioneering takers in Dumaguete, exam fee is only P200.00. The exam will be on March 17, 2010, Wednesday, 1:00pm at the Uytengsu Foundation Computer Center, College of Computer Studies, Silliman University.
